Our Extraction Process

GuruNanda’s Frankincense Essential Oils are created using the gentlest extraction method available. The plants are put through a steam distillation process which releases the important volatile components. It is then cooled which causes it to separate into oil and water. The essential oil is then sent for packaging.

Frankincense Essential Oil Uses:

    • Reduce Age Spots: Apply Frankincense Essential Oil with Gurunanda carrier oil to affected areas of skin, 3 times daily.
    • Balanced Yoga Diffuser Blend: Add 3 drops of Frankincense Essential Oil, 4 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil, 3 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and 5 drops of Lemongrass Essential Oil to an oil diffuser before practicing yoga.
    • Soothing Hand and Foot Massage: Combine a few drops of Frankincense Essential Oil with a Gurunanda carrier oil and massage hands and feet for a warm and rejuvenating effect.
    • Reduce Allergies: Rub a few small drops of Frankincense Essential Oil and Lavender Essential Oil on the palm of your hands, then inhale to help relieve symptoms such as scratchy throat and itchy eyes.
